Mallika Sherawat
is one of the top and most popular celebrities in Bollywood, who has been
started their career in Film industry with movie ‘Jeena Sirf Merre Liye’ in
2002. She was born in Haryana, India on 24th of October 1981 and was
married with ‘Karan Singh Gill’ for a short period but after sometimes they
divorced. Sherawat mainly appeared in Bollywood, Tamil, and English and in some
other TV shows. She is 41 years old and interested in Yoga.
Early Life: - She
was born in Moth, in a Jat family of a small village in Hisar district of
Haryana and her father name is Mukesh Kumar Lamba. Her childhood name was Reema
Lamba and later she adopted the screen name “Mallika”, meaning “empress” in
order to avoid confusion with other actresses who has name Reema.
When she started in film industry then their relations with
her family were strained because her family was totally against her modeling career.
But now they accepted their career and now they encourage him.
She received a degree in philosophy from Miranda House,
Delhi University. When she started his career, she claimed to be a very
conservative small family and face many obstacles to pursue his career.

that she noticed in the top hit movie of 2004, Murder and that film became a
landmark film of her acting career. She also received a Best Actress
Nominations for her performance. She is sexy and self respected actress who
handles her role with confidence.
In 2005, she acted in her first international film The Myth,
and played the role of an Indian girl who saves Chan’s character from a river.
She promoted this film with lot of attention.
